י"ט כסלו: חונכים את ישיבת חב"ד במונטריאול
במונטריאול יקדישו את חג הגאולה י"ט בכסלו לחגיגת חנוכת-הבית לבניין החדש של ישיבת חב"ד הוותיקה בעיר. כבר בקיץ האחרון החלו הלימודים במשכן החדש, אולם ראש-הישיבה הרב אריה-לייב קפלן החליט לשהות את החגיגות לתקופת חורף, והספיק בינתיים לארח במקום את מזכירו של הרבי, הרב בנימין קליין, את גיסו של האדמו"ר מצאנז, ואנ"ש המקומיים שמתפעלים בכל בוקר מחדש מהפאר שעומד על רחוב ווסטבורי.
אורח הכבוד באירוע חנוכת-הבית שיהיה גם ההתוועדות המרכזית בעיר לי"ט כסלו, יהיה הרב דוד-משה ליברמן, רבה הראשי של אנטוורפן, הידוע בשפתו העשירה. האירוע יתקיים ביום חמישי הקרוב ב'זאל' הישיבה על-שם הנדבן היהודי-קנדי בן ווידר.

there is no beter time to do
the chanukas habayis then on 19 kislev as it is the date that as we all recal the trgic news of the fire (i was a talmid there )
so i only have 1 thing to say "rabi kaplan yasher koach"
you shoold see the yeshiva grow that "di naye binyon" will be to small......

Mazal Tov to the Tmimim & Hanholah of Montreal.
I was also a Talmid when the fire occured & it gives me great pleasure - as I'm sure it gives all former Talmidim - to see that the new building is finished, exactly 5 years after the fire!
