ההתוועדות החסידית אמש (ראשון) בבית-הכנסת הגדול במרכז חב"ד העולמי - 770, הפכה לשיחת היום בליובאוויטש. למרבה הצער, מדובר באירוע היסטורי. מאז ה' טבת תשנ"ח, ראשי השלוחים לא יכלו להיכנס למקום מחשש לפגיעה אלימה על-ידי צעירים תמהונים, בגיבוי גורמים אינטרסנטים בקראון-הייטס. בעצם, מדובר באירוע הראשון במקום מאז ג' תמוז שנערך בגאווה חסידית אמיתית. מידי שנה, בכינוס השלוחים, לאחר ה'באנקעט' החגיגי, השליח הראשי הרב דניאל מוסקוביץ' משיקגו עורך התוועדות. בשנה שעברה למשל, השתתפו בה 150 שלוחים. יש שנוסעים ישר מה'באנקעט' לעבר 770. הרבה היו מתוועדים בבית-הכנסת הקטן, בקומה העליונה.השנה, ההתוועדות החלה בשעה 11 בערב. הקהל החל לזרום למקום, והורגשה בטיחות יציבה להזמין שלוחים ראשיים, וראשי המוסדות המרכזיים בחב"ד: הרב אברהם שם-טוב, יו"ר אגודת-חסידי-חב"ד העולמית והרב יהודה קרינסקי, יו"ר המרכז-לענייני-חינוך. וכן ה'חוזר' של הרבי, הרב יואל כהן. מספר המשתתפים הגיעה ל-1000 איש, כולל חסידים, אברכים ותמימים. "ובאו בניך לדביר ביתך", אמר הרב שם-טוב, לאחר לקיחת 'משקה' כהוגן. "הנס של חנוכה היה שהבנים ידעו את הכתובת של הבית. הם לא נפרדו מביתך. עכשיו מוטל עלינו לפעול ל'וטיהרו בית-מקדשיך'".לצפיה בקטע וידאו מהמעמד לחץ כאן. המשך הכתבה וגלריה שניה ומורחבת בכתבה המלאה.

שלוחים וחסידים הסתובבו בעיניים בורקות ופנים מאושרות, מהולות בעצב. הם נזכרים בזמנים הטובים, שהם זכו להתוועד עם הרבי, להתפלל עם הרבי ולנגן עם הרבי. אבל מצד שני, הם מאושרים לדרוך במקום הקדוש, דבר שנבצר מהם בשנים האחרונות.

האנשים נערמו מסביב המתוועדים המרכזיים. ר' ג'וני האקנר השיג מיקרופון אלחוטי, לאחר שהגבאי ר' מנחם גרליצקי התחמק לספק את מערכת ההגברה של בית-הכנסת.

"החל מעכשיו מתחיל כינוס השלוחים", הכריז השליח הרב בערל לאזאר, הרב הראשי לרוסיה. שעות ספורות מקודם הוא נשא את הנאום המרכזי ב'באנקט' במלון הילטון במנהטן. עכשיו הוא נראה כאחד החסידים, מפציר מידי כמה דקות ברבנים שם-טוב וקרינסקי - "נאך א קוש".

ישבו שם יחד עם ה'חוזר' הרב יואל כהן; השליח הראשי לוויסטקונסין, הרב ישראל שמוטקין; השליח הראשי לדיטרויט, הרב בערל שם-טוב; השליח הראשי לסיטאל, הרב שלום-בער לויטין; השליח הראשי לאריזונה, הרב לברטוב; השליח הראשי לג'ורג'יה, הרב יוסי ניו; השליח הראשי לתיאלנד, הרב יוסף-חיים קנטור; והרשימה ממשיכה. אלה רבנים שמשקיעים חודשים ושנים להפצת המעיינות, לקרב יהודים, להקים מוסדות תורה, לעשות את רצון הרבי להכין את העולם לקבלת פני משיח צדקינו.

ברחבי בית-הכנסת נראו קבוצות קטנות מתוועדות יחדיו. באחת מהן, אחד מאנ"ש קראון-הייטס הרים שני תרומות נכבדות של כמה אלפי דולרים לשני בתי-חב"ד.

אנשים מיאנו ללכת. "אני מרגיש אווירה מחשמלת. משהו רוחני שקשה לתאר במילים", אחד השלוחים מארה"ב סיפר לכתב COL בניו-יורק. ההתוועדות המשיכה עד 6 וחצי בבוקר.

בשלב מסויים נגמר ה'לחיים' במקום. אחרי-הכל, זו הייתה התוועדות ספונטנית. הרב אברהם שם-טוב קרא לעשות מגבית. ובמהרה נאסף אלף דולר. ר' שלום וילהלם מיהר לביתו של ר' אלי עבער. הוא אותם משנתם כדי לפתוח את חנות המשקאות ברחוב קינגסטון לטובת המתוועדים.

הרב מוסקוביץ', שליח הראשי למדינת אילינוי, מרוגש כולו. הוא מקבל את עמיתיו השלוחים עם הרמת כוסיות 'לחיים'. הם פורמים את עניבותיהם וסוף סוף מרגישים בבית. מי היה מאמין פעם שהם יצטרכו לעשות "כיבוש" בבית שלהם.

None of the Head Shluchim were there at the begi. of the Farbrengen (except Deren and Kantor. None of them asked to make a Magbis

i happened to be there by the farbrengen in 770 and it was very nice but i dont understand why "col writes that all the shluchim who were there were happy to be able to come in to 770 AGAIN besides avremel yudel and reb yoel,everyone is able to walk in to 770 at any given time,but they dont and maybe thats the problem that klal hachsidim for some reason dont come in.its for sure true that we have to take care of the violence problem in 770 and that there are bochrim there who do what ever they want but another majure problem is the fact that alot of shluchim by themselves i.e.not when they bring balabatim dont step foot into 770 downstairs and the same is to a certain percentage of anash bichlal al kol ponim zol shoin zein achdus between chassidim which is the strongest power that could ever be and the rebbe will finally be nisgaleh

The overwhelming majority of chabad is not interested in this machloikes. Not the Toishwei Hashchuna and not the shluchuim. Make a poll who wants this chilul Hashem to continue in the courts COL will be suprised that close to a 100 percen want this issue out of the courts. The money would be spent more effectively in Expanding 770 like all the other Chasidishe Hoifen have expanded their shul. Lubavitch is a Chasidus and not a kiruv organization. Shluchim are not the ultimate level a chosid could reach. There is Avoda there is Mamorim etc. to help us reach a level that gives the Rebbe Nachas etc. there is no reason to believe that Shluchim are the ones who need to feel comfortable in 770 any more than another Lubavitcher. Yes Reb Yoel should be made to feel comfortable in 770 as well as Avremel And Yudel but with the same measure that every chosid should be made comfortable. I dont understand the idea that most of you think that Shluchim have some superior status on this planet. its Ekeldik to think that somone who considers himself a shliach of the rebbe should have such demands as to be comfortable in 770 as if someone is out to get them or as if they stand out in the crowd. Dont worry no one really cares if you come or if you go. you want to come in to 770 welcome! you dont thats OK too. But dont think that you are the one that should be making the desicion for all of Lubavitch. You count as much as everybody else does in this great world not more and not less. A small spark starts a revolution.

The time has come to take back 770. Yes its time for a revolution. Not a revolution of force or brutality, but a revolution of spirit. Great changes often begin with significant and symbolic moments.

This Farbrengen was a milestone. A milestone that should have occurred years ago, but better late than never. It was a beautiful event for the shluchim, but even more, a great inspiration for the thousands of rank and file Chabad Chasidim who simply want their Shul back.

This is the beginning of a Chanukkah miracle. But please please please, courageous ones, do not stop. Do not stop until you have truly purified the Heichal. Perhaps this is the last frontier that remains to be purified before the revelation of Moshiach. Everyone of us who recalls and remembers, seeks that Shemen Tohor that once emanated from 770, and illuminated the entire world.

It can be done, it must be done, and with steadfast determination, it will be done.

Clean house, and then the true inner glory of Lubavitch that burst upon the world from the first days of the Alter Rebbe, and continued to astonish the world for seven sparkling generations - and greater than ever, in the days of our Rebbe - will once again regain its rightful place and honor.

And the day will speedily come, when this Bais Rabbainu Shb’Bovel will usher in the Mikdosh HaGodol, and he, Melech HaMoshiach, will thank you.

My dear fellow chassidim, this is the time to act, this has opened new doors for us Chassidim to unite with our fellow Chassidim, and to get rid of any source or roots of enemies that we find ourselfes in front of. We see clearley from this evening that if "we really want" there can be Achdus, all there is left, is to do something about it. Mostly of all, is to go to the Hanhalas HaYeshiva in 770, and tell them that there is Talmidim here that are holding back Achdus among us chasidim, and that they should do something about it before its to late, either it means kicking them out, or it means a Knass of no food! you are obviously a very unhappy individual who has repressed and failed feelings vis a vis shlichus and shluchim, you are right shluchim are not the only lubavitchers but you are wrong in saying that they are not the ultimate. The Rebbe wanted every single one of his Chassidim to be a Shliach, his shliach to spread Yiddishkeit with Chassidus. The meaning of a Shliach doesnt have to be one who lives a thousand miles away, you can live in Crown Heights or Bensonhurst and be a Shliach,
The thrust of the writers in this forum is that 770 has become a very uncomfortable place for any ""Normal" person who remembers what is was like before 1992. Like it or not it is now populated by a bunch of weirdos and washed up losers, you cant daven or learn or even have a normal Shmooze, it is surreal.i hope it changes as it is a real pity. The meaning of Dirah BTachtonim is that Hakodosh Boruch Hu feels comfortable and at home in this world, We normal Chassidim and Shluchim who have a different perspective than you dont feel comfortable and it is a real shame!

I wonna just say that for alot of years there were many diffrent people who felt uncomfortable to come in to 770 and im not saying that there are no problems of bochrim who do whatever they want.but we must get our act together and 1 start all coming in to 770 even though this is the situation right now,its not a kuntz to go running away to the ohel for shabbos,even though we all understand that what the rebbe would want now from us chassidim is to be in 770 and live together. no responder number 22, i didnt say that its easy to be around in 770 but yes!its a geshmake place with alot of bochrim living like chassidim we have to stop running away upstairs and to the ohel vechu 2 we have to set all our forces out to make sure that those bochrim in 770 who do whatever they want should be kicked out of the country by force,it is not very hard to know who from the bochrim are the mokor to all these problems and poshut get our act together to send them out 3 the thing that is going on in court right now is not a solution to any problem and its just making machloikes biggerand will never really settle things down

i learn in 770 every day along with many other normal people.i daven there every shabbos and the avir is beautiful if you sit in a normal spot.all these complaints about the crazies is just plain whining.yes there are problems in 770 but it still is an amazing place full of energy and life.

You are absoloutley corect. There are Shluchim out there who think of themselves as the ultimate gift to mankind, but being that they have acomplished little in their comunities they dont have anyone there to tell them how great they are. So when they come to Crown Heights they need to make sure that everyone recognizes that they Exist by asserting themselves on the rest of Lubavitch.

Who decides? You or the Rebbe. Please refer to the first Maamar of the Rebbe.
This does not mean a Shaliach is at his ultimate level of refining his own character, however, Shlichus is indeed the ultimate level of a Chosid of Dor Hashviei. “Eimosai Koasi Mar…”
In other words, being on Shlichus does not necessarily make you the perfect individual, but Shlichus is definitely the ultimate level a Chosid can reach.
IMHO a Chosid “that gives the Rebbe Nachas etc” is one who is a Chassidishe Yid (avoda im atzmo) and IS ON SHLICHUS (avoda im zulaso).

Indeed, this event was wonderful news, but not when written like a New york Times sort of biased anti-israel, anti-semetic, anti-chassidci manner. I hope you get the poit that Im trying to convey.
