הרב יצחק גרוזמן, מנהל בית חב"ד המרכזי בעיר אמר כי "תנועת חב"ד ובמיוחד במישור העירוני אינה נוגעת בעניינים פוליטיים, וההתבטאות של הרב וולפא אינה התבטאות של חב"ד. הוא אדם פרטי ואינו הדובר של חב"ד.
Barda goes on to tell the mayor to rethink his resolution to grant a large lot to Chabad on which an enormous Chabad center is being constructed , which will allow them to broaden and deepen their activities and influence on larger sections of the city. In conclusion, Barda suggest that the mayor relinquish the rights of the premises to Chabad in Ramat Eliyahu.
