עו"ד ציבין: אפילו עם החות’ים – כדי להעביר יהודייה מתימן לישראל
סיפור לא ייאמן, אבל כולו אמת:
עו”ד מרדכי ציבין – חסיד חב”ד, המטפל בישראלים שהסתבכו בחו"ל, ובמקרים בלתי שגרתיים של ערבים המתגוררים במדינות אויב הסגרות בינ"ל ובעניינים פליליים בינ”ל סבוכים – ועו"ד אסף שרעף, הצליחו בסיוע אנשי קשר מקומיים בתימן כולל חות’ים(!), להעלות לישראל אלמנה יהודייה קשישה, שנותרה לבדה לאחר שבעלה נפטר.
המוסלמים המקומיים – בתוכם חות’ים – לא רק שלא התנכלו, אלא עטפו אותו בטלית השתתפו בהלוויה ודאגו לקבורה, בטקס מכובד, בבית קברות לא מוסלמי.
לאחר מאמצים ביורוקרטיים לא קלים, יצאה האלמנה מתימן בדרכה ארצה – אזרח תימני ליווה את האלמנה עד אתיופיה, שם קיבלה טיפול מסור מהשליח הרב אליהו חביב, על חשבונו, כולל לינה במלון יוקרתי – עד להגעתה לארץ.
מאחורי הקלעים עמד פילנתרופ חרדי מבני ברק, מהתומכים הבולטים בעולם התורה ובכוללים, אשר פועל בצנעה למען יהודים בצרה – גם במקומות מהיותר נידחים ומסוכנים.
עו”ד ציבין סיכם זאת כך:
“מתברר שרגש אנושי וחמלה חוצים גבולות של דת, לאום, שבטיות, קומוניזם, סוציאליזם, אידישיזם ואגודיזם, וכל האיזמים למיניהם. לא רק עם אויבים אפשר להגיע להישגים – גם עם השטן אפשר לעשות עסקים, כימיה אנושית מעל הכל : בדוק!” אומר ציבין.

An unbelievable story, but it’s all true.
Attorney Mordechai Tzivin – a Chabad follower, who handles Israelis who got into trouble abroad, and in unusual cases of Arabs living in enemy countries, international extraditions and complicated international criminal matters – succeeded, together with another, with the help of local contacts in Yemen including Houthis(!), in bringing an elderly Jewish widow to Israel, who was left alone after her husband passed away.
The local Muslims – including Houthis – not only did not harass him, but they wrapped him in a tallit, attended the funeral and arranged for his burial, in a dignified ceremony, in a non-Muslim cemetery.
After bureaucratic efforts, which were not easy, the widow left Yemen on her way to Israel – a Yemeni citizen accompanied the widow to Ethiopia, where she received dedicated care from the emissary Rabbi Eliyahu Habib, at his expense, including accommodation in a prestigious hotel – until she arrived in Israel.
Behind the scenes was an ultra-Orthodox philanthropist from Barak, one of the most prominent supporters in the Torah world and in kollels, who works discreetly for Jews in need – even in the most remote and dangerous places
Advocate Tzivin summed it up like this:
